If the fibre is already in your building, we will send it to your home through the existing internal infrastructures (antenna, telephone or, if needed, electricity).
We'll pass a cable from the outside of your building into your home and we'll install the router where you prefer without the need for any building work: by using internal conduits, we will not leave any cable visible in your home.
Installation usually takes only 1 to 2 hours.

For customers without a fixed telephone service, we are installing the AMAZON Eero 6 router. You can find more information about it here.
At registration/installation you do not have to pay anything for the installed equipment, although in case of service termination all the equipment must be returned.
If you are already a customer and want to change your router, contact us via chat o call us free on 900 651 651.
In the event that you decide to cancel your Adamo contract and the equipment is not returned, an additional cost of € 133.10 will be invoiced for the Genexis router or € 161.05 for each Eero device you have installed (if you have contracted the Smart Wifi service, you will have up to two Eero routers installed).

In this article we offer you some tips that you can follow to improve the quality of your WiFi signal and have a better browsing experience:
Try, whenever possible, to bring the router closer to the area from where you most connect. If you use Wi-Fi all around, put the router in a central place, more or less high (at least 150 cm from the ground if feasible) in a shelf of a bookcase or similar and avoiding elements that reduce the coverage (metal shelves, walls, columns, etc). This way, the propagation of the signal avoids going through low furniture, cupboards or sofas, and you can gain a few meters of coverage.
Move the router away from cordless phones, microwave appliances and other Bluetooth wireless appliances (such as audio and video devices) as they may cause interference. Appliances, tiles, kitchen walls, mirrors and in general large metal surfaces such as shelves or formwork walls limit also the propagation of the signal.
If it is a two-story home, it is recommended to install the router on the ceiling of the lower floor or near the floor of the upper floor (depending on the floor for which you want to guarantee a better signal). Its placement is always better in the floor where it will be used the most. In homes with three or more floors, the middle floor is always the best solution, and the stairwell is an excellent option to avoid losing coverage.
For homes over 200 meters, we recommend you using the Eero-Smart-Wifi solution.
To check the received WiFi signal on your devices, consult the WiFi signal icon of the network, it is usually reflected with some bars.

You can take a speed test here. We recommend that you do the test connecting the computer by network cable, since it is the technology that allows the highest speed.
If you have an Amazon Eero 6 Router you can also access the Eero App and from the 'Home' option you can launch a test and check the speed you receive.
Before carrying out the test, we recommend that you check our network speeds in this document.
The contracted speed is real! Fiber optic technology is stable and allows us to deliver the advertised speed to your home.

Please look at the sticker on the router. There you can find your network name and password.
The router broadcasts two WiFi networks at the same time, one of them guarantees compatibility with older equipment at the cost of lower speed and the other, whose network name ends in _5G, is faster and resistant to interference. We recommend that you connect to the 5G network whenever your computers detects it.

You will find your network password on your Adamo router-ONT device.
Remember that you can change both the network name and the password. If you decide to do so, be sure to note down the new information so that you can easily refer to it before requesting a reset.
To change it, check the manual of the equipment.
If you have an Amazon Eero 6 Router you can modify the name and password of your network from the Eero App, in the 'Network Settings' option.

We work with fixed IPs in bridge or routed:
- Fixed IP in BRIDGE: Allows you to configure a different device through which the connection traffic passes, instead of going through the public IP. It is less secure since it gives a direct connection to the internet, but it allows the configuration to be much more flexible and you can configure and manage your own internal network by putting your own equipment behind our connection.
- Fixed IP in ROUTED: It gives the possibility of having a static IP, so that the IP will not vary over time, and allows the connection traffic to pass through the LAN ports of the Adamo router, which will establish the network security protocols necessary for your connection to be secure.

We use state-of-the-art equipment so you can connect almost as many devices as you want. But remember that having many devices connected at the same time can slow down your connection.
If you have an Amazon Eero 6 Router you can check the number of devices connected to your network from the Eero App, in the 'Home' option. By selecting the device you choose, you can block or unblock it.

It may be because there is a breakdown in the service or because the installed equipment has broken down. Please try to turn off the equipment installed by Adamo, the router and the ONT (if you have it installed) for 2 minutes.

First of all, do a speed test to verify that the problem is at your end and not at the server that serves the web.
If you detect a reduced speed, check that when doing the test you do not have many programs or applications open/running (windows, browser tabs) or more than one connected device (computers, mobiles, tablets), because in this case the test would not show the real speed. Also keep in mind that if your computer does not meet the necessary technical requirements, in addition to having a Gigabit Full Duplex card and a CAT 5e or CAT 6 or higher Ethernet cable, it is possible that the speed of your connection will not reach its maximum capacity.
A network cable connection will also help you get better speeds than via WI-FI.

Adamo uses the 'MixedWPA / WPA2 + AES' encryption standard by default, which is the most secure encryption standard for Wi-Fi networks today.
We recommend that our customers take a basic security precaution: change the password. Write as long a password as possible.
A new password will be not only more secure but also easier to memorize.

We recommend that you always connect the console by ethernet cable to enjoy the maximum speed.
For optimal use of the console it is necessary to open some ports, indicated by the manufacturer itself.
